Latest Technology Product - Cloud

I've recently read an article about Cloud storage for mobile devices that basically discussed how some IT workers are not aware of cloud storage and are in jeopardy of very important data if equipment is damaged or stolen.
Cloud storage means different things to different people depending on how it’s implemented. The most common implementation is a ‘public cloud’, which is essentially storage capacity accessed through the Internet or a wide area network (WAN) connection, and purchased on an as-needed basis. Users can expand capacity almost without limit, by contacting the provider, which typically operates a highly scalable storage infrastructure, sometimes in physically dispersed locations.
Cloud storage is a new distribution model, however, with the potential for economies of scale. Aside from cost, its benefits are outsourced operation, simple, unlimited growth and ‘enterprise’ features for smaller users - like high availability, security, data protection, etc.

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

Is it possible to charge up a MacBook and two ipads at the same time using the same device? Well according to the new Hyperjuice2 there is. The Hyperjuice2 is a device that will allow you to charge a MacBook and two ipads. While using the Hyperjuice2 you wouldn’t even need an AC outlet, unless the hypeerjuice2 needs to be charged. The Hyperjuice2 takes about 4 hours to fully charge. This electronic works with 11 to 17inch MacBooks, all the generations of ipads, and all iphones. Not only will it charge all of these products but also it will allow the ipad to fun for an extra 50 hours (44 for the new ipad), and an extra 26 for the Macbook on a fully charged hyperjuice2. On the front of the hyperjuice2 there is a LCD status display that shows the temperature, time left for a complete charge, and the battery status that is remaining. The Sanho Hyperjuice sells for $299. The Hyperjuice was launched at the IFA 2012.

Technology
Last week Jan.10-13 was the Consumer Electronic Show. This is a show held by the Consumer Electronics Association to inform people of the new technology and promote growth in the consumer technology industry. This is the largest Electronic show in the world. Many of the top retailers are apart of this trade show. This show had many keynote speakers including CEO of Microsoft, Intel, and Xerox. Not only are large corporations there but also athletes, musicians, and Hollywood celebrities that are also ready for new innovations. At the end of the show they hold an award ceremony to vote for the top innovations. I thought this was very interesting. This is the website where you can see the winners along pictures that were taken during the CES and new technology http://www.cesweb.org/
